What is a Print?
1. Maybe a print is anything that leaves an impression.
2. It is the end product resulting from a process in which the artist or team of artists create a unique matrix to be used as a vehicle for transferring pigment onto a receiving surface. I might add that this process is highly variable, often collaborative, sometimes exacting, frequently liberating, and almost always pleasurable and addictive.
